Book covers
Through the years I've more than once had the pleasure of working with the talented and multi facetted fictional author Emanuel Blume.
"Nomadplaneten" is an epic dystopian science fiction story that is as thrilling as entertaining to read and it was a real honour to get to make the cover as well as the inside illustrations.
"Nagrilärerna" is a horror/urban fantasy novel for young adults and making the cover art was just as exciting as reading the story.
little blue planet
In 2014 I got this idea. "Why don't I make a children's book about a crew of friendly and curious little aliens exploring our solar system and Earth?" The idea came to me after a work visit to Onsala Space Observatory and said and done, as soon as I got back home, I started drawing.
After that a year of dedicated work followed and when that year was up, I had 42 fully illustrated 31 x 41 cm pages and a story to back it up with as well.
The Swedish Astronomical Society funded some of my work and as soon as I was done, a publisher got interested, invited me to a meeting in Stockholm and everything looked very promising until it didn't. Due to a deal with another publisher, they would no longer publish any children's books of their own,
To say the least, I was discouraged enough not to reach out to any other publishers and the entire project went dormant until recently, when I decided to give it another go. Same artwork, same story but in a different package than the originally intended.
If you're a publisher who like the artwork/concept, don't hesitate to reach out!

What else have I done and what else can I do?
What you see above is, other than my portfolio, only the most recent and most important of my work. Apart from these projects I have through the years been working with the Wikimedia Foundation, Consumer Reports, the Gothenburg Regional Archive, comics publishers such as Underfire Comics and Time Bomb Comics, science fiction fanzine SF Forum and Swedish astronomy magazine Populär Astronomi. Other than that I have created illustrations for table top role playing games and I'm generally into character design.
Even though space, astronomy and science fiction is my main focus, I am  also an avid gamer and would be exited to work with you on your boardgames and card games. Just drop me a line if you think I'm the right illustrator for you.
